Thor: From a Little Girl's Point of View

Lu Lackten looked out her little window, situated right above her bed. She lived Puente Antiguo in New Mexico. “Mama!” she shouted. She lived in an apartment building on block away from Denny's, the diner of course. “Mama! I'm up!” she shouted as she ran into her mothers bedroom where her parents lay, simi asleep. “Huh, what?” Her Papa growled in his usual It's morning, and I don't wanna be up now! Way. Lu giggled. “Come on! Can we go to Denny's? You know, for breakfast!” She asked. “Go wake up Samuel, get him dressed and all, then we'll go.” Her mother answered. Lu ran to her little baby brothers room. “Come on Samuel.” the baby cooed in happiness at the sight of his sister. Lu dressed him in his little outfit that was contrary to other baby outfits. Lu had made it for him, she was rather good at sewing. On the little shirt it said 'Don't mess with me! I have a big sister!' And on the back 'Get the picture?!' It went beautifully with the little pair of sweatpants that she had made for him, finally, when they were all ready, they went to Denny's. They sat across from two men, and two ladies. On man, looked relatively normal, but the other needed a desperate haircut. On woman was texting when the man in need of a haircut suddenly slammed a cup on the floor. One woman got very angry with him and demanded that he stop smashing things, he responded with the fact that he meant no disrespect, but she was still a little angry when two men, who appeared to be hillbilly's walked in. They were talking about some kind of crater sight. The long-haired man stood up and demanded where it could be found, for one hillbilly explained it was a satellite, according to the law. The man started to leave when the lady who was angry with him said “Where are you going?” “To get what belongs to me.” The man answered. “Wait, so you own a satellite now?” the lady asked, then the other lady who had been texting said, “This is going on face book!” Lu ordered her food, then looked down at the broken glass. “Who were they?” she asked they're waitress. “Erik Selvig, Darcy, and Jane Foster, along with some man named Thor.” she answered. “Mm.” Lu grunted. Later, when they came back to Denny's for lunch, it was a rather small town if you haven't noticed. Lu was peacefully eating her burger when a loud boom startled her. She gasped at the sight just feet away from the window. An ten- no- twelve foot robot was shooting fire from his eyes right there before her. The man called Erik Selvig walked in and shooed everyone out. “Go! Go! You can eat later!” he pushed, Lu turned and ran, she grabbed her little brother first, then she ran and ran and ran. “Run!” she heard her mother yell behind her. Everyone huddled behind a building, finally all the crashing stopped. She saw a little fireball fly towards the air to the man named Thor, who was knocked unconscious. She had heard him speaking. Then to her great surprise, he acquired armor, and a hemmer that she guessed was the satellite. “Mama!” she exclaimed as the man started to swing his hammer in circles making a tornado, the big robot flew up and eventually, though she couldn't see much, flew down, dead as any robot that had lost its battery. The man walked towards the lady named Jane and asked her something about a bridge, then he grabbed her, and flew off, never to be seen by Lu again. When her family headed home, Lu thought of what she had seen. One thing she found comical, was her little brother had been sucking on his thumb and sleeping peacefully through all the noise. When he grew up, and turned 10, and she would be 18, she would tell him all about it. But for now, she went home, her family in silence. When they walked into there warm house, her dad remarked “We must get out of the house more often!” “What a freak.” her mom agreed. Lu giggled, then fell asleep when she was tucked in.
